Refund Policy
Snap VPN offers a fourteen (14) day refund window on all subscription plans. Refunds are processed by Apple Inc. through the Apple App Store. The procedure for requesting a refund is set out in Section 2 below.
1. Apple as the Merchant of Record
Snap VPN subscriptions are sold and processed exclusively by Apple Inc. through the Apple App Store. Apple acts as the merchant of record in jurisdictions in which it is permitted to do so, and as commissionaire or agent in other jurisdictions, in each case in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Payment is collected by Apple, and the subscription is associated with the User's Apple ID. Refund requests are therefore evaluated and processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies and with the consumer-protection law applicable in the User's jurisdiction. Snap VPN does not have the technical ability to charge, capture, or refund payments made on the Apple App Store.
2. Requesting a Refund
A refund for a Snap VPN subscription may be requested through the procedure set out below.
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in using the Apple ID with which the subscription was purchased.
- Locate the Snap VPN subscription in the list of recent purchases.
- Select “Request a Refund” and choose the reason that most accurately describes the request.
- Submit the request. Apple typically responds within a small number of business days.
3. Apple's Approval Criteria
The grant or denial of a refund is at Apple's discretion, subject to applicable consumer-protection law. In general, refunds have been observed to be granted by Apple where (a) the subscription was activated unintentionally, (b) the Application failed to function as described, (c) the User experienced an unauthorized or duplicated charge, or (d) applicable law in the User's jurisdiction requires the refund.
4. European Union Right of Withdrawal
Consumers resident in the European Union have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, subject to the exceptions set out in Article 16 of that Directive. The withdrawal right may be unavailable or reduced only where the applicable statutory conditions are satisfied, including any required prior express consent, acknowledgment, and confirmation, and subject to the distinct rules that Directive 2011/83/EU applies to digital content and to services. Apple obtains the relevant consent and acknowledgment as part of the in-app purchase flow and administers withdrawal requests through reportaproblem.apple.com.
EU consumers wishing to exercise any right of withdrawal that may apply notwithstanding the foregoing may submit the request through reportaproblem.apple.com to Apple, which is the counterparty to the subscription transaction.
5. Cancellation Without Refund
A User who does not wish to receive a refund but wishes to stop future renewals may cancel the subscription through the Apple ID subscription-management interface, accessible via Settings on the User's Apple device, or by following the instructions at support.apple.com/HT202039. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not, by itself, terminate access during the then-current paid term and does not entitle the User to a refund of fees already paid.
6. Disputes with Apple
If Apple has not resolved a refund request to the User's satisfaction, the User may contact Apple Support directly. Snap VPN can assist with technical issues that may substantiate a refund request submitted to Apple but cannot issue a refund independently of Apple. Inquiries of this nature may be submitted to [email protected].
7. Limitation
Nothing in this Refund Policy operates to expand or limit any non-waivable right of the User under the consumer-protection law of the User's state, province, or country of residence.
8. Contact
