Aim
Snap VPN exists to route traffic from an iPhone or iPad through an encrypted tunnel to a server location the user chooses. The application is built around that single task and presents only the controls needed to perform it.
Security
Snap VPN uses the WireGuard protocol through Apple's Network Extension framework. WireGuard is a modern protocol with a small codebase and audited cryptography, and is the only transport the application supports.
Privacy
Subscriptions are processed through Apple, so the application does not collect an email address, password, or user profile. The service does not record visited destinations, connection timestamps, or session duration. Server-side state is kept to what is required to deliver the tunnel.
